What is Reiki?

Reiki is an alternative form of medicine that channels the universal energy flowing through the world. It is done with the intention of supportive health approach.  Reiki does not directly cure disease or illnesses.  It is used to manage symptoms and improve general well-being. The predominate form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, known as Usui Reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

 

Reiki can be done in person, but it can also be done long distance because energy can be transferred as long as we are connected.

Reiki is for?

Complementary therapy to help with illness and recovery, as well as emotional trauma, depression, anxiety.

What happens in your session? 

In your distance reiki session you will be provided with a short introduction conversation about the process and your expectations.  This will be done via your desired  form of communication the phone, text or email.  

It is best for you to lay down or find a quiet place to sit and have some quiet music playing ( some options will be provided).

 

The practitioner will let you know when she/he has started via note and then you will be able to close your eyes and drift off into your own space.  The session will always begin at your third eye (forehead) and then the rest will be guided during the session.  It is best for you to simply allow the energy to do the work.  Some feel weighted down, see colours or images, some feel tingling, or emotions etc.  Each session will be unique.  When the session is done you will be notified.  You can remain in your quiet space and enjoy.  I will send you notes from the session for you to review.
